On Thursday, January 29th, Volvo of Charlotte hosted the "From Sweden with LOV" Tour, showcasing the all-new Volvo XC60 Crossover model. The event was a great success and the XC60 was well-received by all who attended. Several attendees were so impressed by the new model that they completed a preorder agreement to become the first XC60 owners when they are made available in early April! Volvo representatives were on-hand offering demonstrations of new and special features including a driving demonstration of Volvo's new "City Safety System", which allows the XC60 Crossover to stop itself under certain circumstances, to avoid or mitigate a likely collision. Between the excitement of the new XC60's style and features, as well as the delicious catered food provided by Something Classic, the evening was a good time enjoyed by all. Thank you to all who attended for joining us, and for supporting our LOV of animals -- We are donating $10 per attendee to The Humane Society of Charlotte, as well as sponsoring the H.S.C. by donating five percent of profits on all car sales during 2009.
